Work Steps For Blocked/Seized Up Air-Conditioning Compressor
- Remove desiccator.

- Check dryer for wear/chips.
- 2.1 Tilt refrigerant oil out of the desiccator and check for wear (dark grey to black entrainment) and chips. Close off the dryer immediately after tilting the refrigerant oil using the > VAS 6122 - engine bung set .
If there are signs of wear/chips:
- Replace condenser.
- Cleaning refrigerant circuit
- Replace refrigerant line between compressor and condenser.

- Replace desiccator.

- Renew electric air-conditioning compressor.

If there are no signs of wear/chips:
- The dryer can still be used if it was opened <20 minutes.
