Preliminary Work

Information 

• Four flushing routines must be performed in order to clean the complete refrigerant circuit on the Taycan. 
• The four flushing routines are performed automatically one after the other using the Tester. 
• Some flushing routines cannot be used. 
• The first flushing routine cleans the refrigerant circuit between the charging valves and evaporator. 
• The second flushing routine cleans the refrigerant circuit between the charging valves and evaporator (chiller). 
• The third flushing routine (if additional equipment "heat pump" is installed) cleans the refrigerant circuit between the charging valves and all three shut-off valves (EAV2, EAV3 and EAV5). 
• The fourth flushing routine cleans the refrigerant circuit between the charging valves and condenser. 
• The necessary flushing adapters must be installed before starting the flushing routines.

• All information and procedures in the PIWIS Tester take precedence. 

1. Drain refrigerant.

   > 870317 DRAINING AND FILLING REFRIGERANT R1234YF 

   > 870317 DRAINING AND FILLING REFRIGERANT R134A 

2. Remove internally damaged (seized up) air-conditioning compressor.

   > 873419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ELECTRIC AIR-CONDITIONING COMPRESSOR .

3. If the air-conditioning compressor is seized up: Install new condenser.

   > 875019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CONDENSER 

4. Remove desiccator.

   > 875555 REPLACING DRYER 

5. Remove check valve.
