Removing Heat EXCHANGER Hose

→ Always use insulated tools, e.g. > VAS 6883 - Insulated Tool Set when working on these components.

Information
Electric contacts must never come into contact with coolant.
- Release and disconnect electric plug connections -2 and 3-
and set high-voltage lines aside.
Electric plug connections
- Unclip clip -1-
from cross member -2-
and set electric line -3-
aside.
Clip
- Remove heat exchanger hose -1-
.
- 3.1 Unclip clip -4- .
- 3.2 Loosen spring band clamps -5- using > VAS 6891 - Spring Band Clamp Pliers .
- 3.3 Pull heat exchanger hose -1- from heat exchanger -2- and additional coolant pump -3- and remove.
- 3.4 Catch escaping coolant and close off line connections using suitable stoppers.
Heat exchanger hose
