Removing Heat EXCHANGER Supply Hose

→ Always use insulated tools, e.g. > VAS 6883 - Insulated Tool Set when working on these components.
→ Observe general warning notes for working on the high-voltage system.

- Release and disconnect electric plug connections -2 and 3-
and move high-voltage lines aside.
Electric plug connections
- Unscrew screw -1-
and set equipotential bonding line aside.

- Unclip clip -1-
from cross member -2-
and move electric line -3-
aside.

Information
Electric contacts must never come into contact with coolant.
- Remove heat exchanger supply hose -1-
.
- 4.1 Unscrew screw -4- .
- 4.2 Unclip clip -5- .
- 4.3 Loosen spring band clamps -6- using > VAS 6891 - spring band clamps pliers .
- 4.4 Pull heat exchanger supply hose -1- off the directional-control valve -2- and electric passenger compartment heater -3- and remove it.
- 4.5 Remove heat exchanger supply hose -1- .
- 4.6 Catch escaping coolant and close off line connections using suitable stoppers.
