Removal of brake calliper
- Paint defects on brake calliper
→ Proceed with care when setting back the brake pads.
→ Protect the paintwork on the brake calliper from damage using a suitable cloth.
Information
If necessary, remove a little brake fluid from the reservoir by suction in order to prevent an overflow when the disc brake pads are pushed back.
Information
Do not damage the dust boots of the brake pistons, replace them if damaged.
- Press brake pistons -1-
back.

> T10145 - Piston resetting appliance
must be inserted at the center, between the disc brake pads -2-
.
Then, press the brake pistons -1- back slowly and evenly.
- 1.2 > T10145 - Piston resetting appliance must now be removed.

- Remove retaining clips for brake pads -1-
on the brake calliper.
The retaining clip for the brake pad wear indicator cable does not need to be removed.

- 2.1 Unclip and remove the retaining clip -1- using a plastic wedge -Arrows- .
- Remove rear brake pads -1-

Rear brake pads
- 3.1 Fit a plastic wedge between the disc brake pads -1- and brake calliper and push the disc brake pads -2- in from the pad retaining pins one after the other -Arrows- .
- 3.2 Remove disc brake pads one by one.
- Clean sealing surfaces of the disc brake pads in the brake calliper with standard brake cleaner.
