- Observe requirements for isolation from power supply prior to performing maintenance tasks on BEV vehicles.

- Isolate the high-voltage system from the power supply.

- Document safe isolation from power supply.
- Loosen ground strap for battery.
- Drain coolant.
- Remove rear axle.
- Remove automatic transmission (with electric motor).

- Fasten electric motor with automatic transmission on the assembly support.

- Remove rear power electronics unit.
