Removing Electric Motor With Automatic Transmission (Rear-Axle Module) From Engine Support

For better clarity, the > VAS 6095A/1-23 - engine support and > VAS 6095A - engine and gearbox bracket are not shown in the illustration below.
- Raise the rear-axle module -3-
.
Lifting the rear-axle module with round slings and workshop crane
- 1.1 Fasten two > VAS 501 017 - round slings-7- and two > VAS 501 015 - round slings-1- to the brackets -2-as shown.
- 1.2 Position > 3033 - lifting tackle-5- above the rear-axle module using a > VAS 6100 - workshop crane-6- .
- 1.3 Engage round slings -1 and 7- in the spring hooks of the > 3033 - lifting tackle-5- .
- 1.4 Check the position of the spindles -Arrows- and adjust the height by turning the adjusting handles.
- 1.5 Pre-tension round slings -1 and 7- slightly by raising the workshop crane.
- Release the engine support and remove the rear-axle module.
Engine support to electric motor
- 2.1 Release locking mechanism -6- and turn tension screw -6- anti-clockwise until the guide is sufficiently open.
- 2.2 Pull out retaining pin -6- and block it by turning it in pulled position.
- 2.3 Carefully lower the rear-axle module -7-Arrows- and remove it from the work area using the workshop crane.
