Removing Electric Drive Motor

Brackets on drive motor.

1. 1.1  Loosen and unscrew screws -1 and 2-  and remove brackets -3 and 4-  .
   CAUTION: Heavy components

   • Risk of squashing

     → Wear personal protective gear.

     → Get someone to help if necessary.

Electric drive motor on assembly support

Information 

The lifting tackle T90026 is a two-piece design. To prevent damage to the sealing face, they must be screwed together before use.

1. 2.1  Screw two > T90026 - lifting devices-1-  into the electric drive motor -2-  and tighten them.
2. 2.2  Guide two > VAS 501 015 - round slings  through the > T90026 - trailer hitches  .
3. 2.3  Position a > VAS 6100 - workshop crane  above the electric drive motor and hook it into the > VAS 501 015 - round sling  .
4. 2.4  Release locking mechanism -Arrow-  and turn tension screw -3-  anti-clockwise until the guide is sufficiently open.
5. 2.5  Pull out retaining pin -4-  and block it by turning it in pulled position.
6. 2.6  Lift up electric drive motor.
