→ Only appropriately trained and authorised persons are permitted to work on high-voltage vehicles and components.
→ Required qualification: High voltage technician or high voltage expert.
→ Observe national requirements and legislation for this work.
→ Always use insulated tools, e.g. > VAS 6883 - Insulated Tool Set when working on these components.
→ Observe general warning notes for working on the high-voltage system.

Preliminary work for measurement 7
(Check: High-voltage distributor)
- Unscrew traction line (from high-voltage distributor to front power electronics) at the high-voltage distributor and disconnect it.
Traction line from high-voltage charger to front power electronics
- Connect high-voltage test adapter > VAS 6558/9-6A - High-voltage test adapter
to high-voltage distributor (passenger compartment heater output). Leave the second connection open.
Measurement 7
- Perform measurement 7.
- 3.1 Setpoint value ≥ 10 MOhm
- Evaluate measured result
- 4.1 If the measured value is within the setpoint value range, continue with measurement 8 .
- 4.2 If the measured value is outside of the setpoint value range, replace high-voltage distributor.
After replacing the high-voltage distributor, repeat measurement 2.
