Removing Radiator With Cooling Fan Housing

WARNING: Caustic fluids 
  • Danger of chemical burns 
    • Wear personal protective gear.
    • Ensure that there is good ventilation.
    • Avoid contact with caustic fluid.
    • If you do come into contact, wash off immediately with plenty of warm water and contact a doctor if necessary.
WARNING: Hot fluid 
  • Danger of scalding 
    • Let the fluid cool down.
    • Wear personal protective gear.
  1. Loosen wire harness and rear mounting.

    Wire harness on radiator

    1. 1.1  Loosen clips -2-  .
    2. 1.2  Release and disconnect cable plug -3-  .
    3. 1.3  Set wire harness aside.
    4. 1.4  Loosen and unscrew screw -1-  .
  2. Remove radiator -4-  .

    Mounting for radiator coolant hoses

    1. 2.1  Position a suitable container under the radiator to catch emerging coolant.
    2. 2.2  Open spring band clamps -1-  and pull off coolant hoses -2-  .
    3. 2.3  Loosen and unscrew screws -3-  and remove radiator -4-  .
    4. 2.4  Close off line connections using suitable stoppers.
