Checking Antifreeze In Coolant

Information 

• Only use Genuine Porsche coolant.
• Never mix coolant with other coolants.

Information 

• The coolant filled in at the factory is intended for lifetime cooling and, thus, need not be changed.

1. Let the cooling system cool down.
2. Check antifreeze content.
   1. 2.1  Check antifreeze content using antifreeze tester -1-  .

   2. 2.2  If the antifreeze content is above -35 °C, correct it by increasing the proportion of pure coolant as required.

      Coolant mixture ratio 

      • 40% coolant and 60% distilled water for antifreeze protection up to -25 °C 
      • 50% coolant and 50% distilled water for antifreeze protection up to -36 °C
