into the opening on the secondary lock and lift up the locking mechanism -arrow-
until the lock engages at its top position.

If it is not possible to pull out the optical waveguides, check again that the secondary lock is completely unlocked and that the primary lock is raised sufficiently

at the primary locking mechanism, lift up locking mechanism and carefully pull out optical waveguide -1-

Primary lock
- Check locking mechanisms, connector housing and contacts for possible damage and replace damaged parts if necessary.

- New electric lines are secured at the mounting points for the old electric lines.
- The damaged electric wire harness remains installed in the vehicle.
- The damaged electric wire harness is only disconnected directly at connected components.

- Do not damage the insulation on the optical waveguides during installation.

The range of spare parts available for optical waveguides depends on equipment. There is a specific set containing the individual optical waveguides to suit the equipment in the vehicle.
Select the required optical waveguide and remove it from the set.
- Insulate damaged optical waveguide for dashboard and tie it to the main wire harness.
- Secure new optical waveguide for dashboard -1-
to the main wire harness -2-
