Removing Main Wire Harness On Rear Right Sub-Part

NOTE: Voltage peaks

Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit
→ Switch oft ignition and keep transmitter key outside of the transmission range (at least 5 m).

→ Switch off electrical loads before disconnecting or removing them.

Information

When cutting the wire harness, make sure there is enough length of cable left to join to the new lines

Loosen main wire harness on rear right sub-part -1- .

Main wire harness on rear right sub-part
1. 1.1 Unclip cable duct -2- (-arrow A- ).
2. 1.2 Unscrew nuts on ground points at right C-pillar -3- .
3. 1.3 Unclip rear right connection points holder -4- (-arrow B- ).
4. 1.4 Unclip clips -5- .

Unclip connection point holder for lock carrier -1- and clips -2- .

Release electric plug connections from the rear-differential lock control unit and disconnect.

Remove main wire harness on sub-part for tire pressure monitoring.

Release and disconnect electric plug connections on rear-end electronics control unit.

Loosen rear fuse box.
