Removing Main Wire Harness On Front Right Sub-Part

NOTE: Voltage peaks

Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit
→ Switch oft ignition and keep transmitter key outside of the transmission range (at least 5 m).

→ Switch off electrical loads before disconnecting or removing them.

Information

When cutting the wire harness, make sure there is enough length of cable left to join to the new lines

Cut main wire harness section for front lid at the right -1- in areas -x- .

Separation points
Release and disconnect electric plug connections for mobile phone antenna amplifier.
> 914519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING MOBILE PHONE ANTENNA AMPLIFIER
Loosen fuse box in right footwell.
> 978409 LOOSENING AND SECURING FUSE BOX IN THE FOOTWELL
Unscrew nuts -1- at ground points on A-pillar -2- and remove ground lines -3- .

Disconnect electric wire harness for front door.

Electric wire harness for door, front
1. 5.1 Release -1- locking lug -arrow A- and unclip mounting housing -arrow B- .
2. 5.2 Guide electric wire harness for front door out of the A-pillar.
Remove loudspeaker booster.

Release and disconnect electric plug connections for assistance systems central control unit.
