Loosening Main Wire Harness In The Plenum Panel Area

NOTE: Incorrect handling of main wire harness

Risk of damage to lines
→ The main wire harness contains all airbag lines, antenna lines and optical waveguides.

→ The main wire harness must not be separated and is always replaced as a complete wire harness when carrying out extensive repairs.

→ If individual lines are damaged, shut off these lines and install new lines. Lay the new lines along the main wire harness and secure them to the main wire harness.

Release and disconnect electric plug connection on ignition module for lid, front.

Release and disconnect electric plug connection on pressure sensor 3.
> 878319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING PRESSURE SENSOR 3
Release and detach electric plug connection on expansion valve 1.
> 877019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING EXPANSION VALVE
Release and detach electric plug connection on expansion valve 2.
> 877019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING EXPANSION VALVE
Release and detach electric plug connections for brake booster.
> 477019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING BRAKE BOOSTER
Release inn detach electric plug connection for brake fluid reservoir.
> 471019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR
Release and detach electric plug connection on temperature sensor for DC/DC converter in medium-temperature circuit (TW 10).
> 197819 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TEMPERATURE SENSOR
Release and disconnect electric plug connection for front air-spring strut.
> 433019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT AIR-SPRING STRUT
Release and disconnect electric plug connections for front PDCC control unit.
> 430819 REMOVING AND INSTALLING PDCC CONTROL UNIT
Loosen main wire harness in the left plenum panel area -1- .
