Information
The procedure for removing and installing is described for one side as an example. The procedure for the other side is almost identical.
Information
Once PDCC is ready for operation, chassis adjustments can be made. To avoid injury/crushing, only work near the anti-roll bar, lower trailing arms and bellows of the steering gear without establishing operational readiness and always allow for the run-on time of 60 seconds.
Information
Threaded joints must only be tightened in zero position to prevent warping in the bearing:
- Install connecting link for anti-roll bar -1- .
- Lift the wheel bearing housing as far as required using lifting equipment (e.g. > VAS 6931 - Transmission and Engine Jack
) until the lower trailing arm is horizontal.
