Installing Anti-Roll Bar (PDCC)

Information 

Threaded joints must only be tightened in zero position to prevent warping in the bearings.

1. Install anti-roll bar (PDCC).
   1. 1.1  Position anti-roll bar (PDCC) -1-  .
   2. 1.2  Position anti-roll bar clamp -4-  and fit new  screws -3-  .
   3. 1.3  Fit holder -2-  .

      Information 

      Threaded joints must only be tightened in zero position to prevent warping in the bearings.

2. Position anti-roll bar clamp -3-  and fit new  screws -2-  .

3. Install strut -1-  .
   1. 3.1  Position strut -1-  .
   2. 3.2  Fit and tighten screws -5-  .

      > Tightening torque 30 Nm (22 ftlb.) 

   3. 3.3  Fit and tighten nuts -4-  .

      > Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.) 

   4. 3.4  Fit and tighten screws -3-  .

      > Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.) 

   5. 3.5  Fit and tighten screws -2-  .

      > Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.)

      Strut

4. Secure ground strap -1-  .

   Ground line

   1. 4.1  Position ground line -1-  .
   2. 4.2  Screw on and tighten nut -2-  .

      > Tightening torque 4.5 Nm (3.25 ftlb.) 

   3. 4.3  Clip in clips -2 and 3-  .
5. Secure wire harness -1-  and install PDCC control unit holder -2-  .
   1. 5.1  Position wire harness -1-  and clip in clip -3-  .
   2. 5.2  Position PDCC control unit holder -2-  .
   3. 5.3  Fit and tighten screws -4-  .

      > Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.)

      Information 

      The procedure for removing and installing is described for one side as an example. The procedure for the other side is almost identical.

6. Install line bracket -1-  .
   1. 6.1  Clip in line bracket -1-  .
   2. 6.2  Connect and lock electric plug connections -3-  .
   3. 6.3  Clip in clip -2-  .
