Subsequent Work

  1. Install brake disc air guide.

    > 461619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING BRAKE DISC AIR GUIDE (REAR)

  2. Install rear brake disc.

    > 465319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR BRAKE DISC

    > 465419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR PCCB BRAKE DISC

  3. Fit rear wheel.

    > 440519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING WHEEL - section on "Installing"

  4. For vehicles with air suspension system:  Fill the levelling system.

    > 430117 BLEEDING AND FILLING THE LEVELLING SYSTEM

  5. For vehicles with steel suspension system:  Install coil spring.

    > 427219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COIL SPRING 

  6. Lower the vehicle.

    > 4X00IN LIFTING THE VEHICLE - section on "Subsequent work"

  7. Tighten nut on drive shaft.
    1. 7.1  Get another person to help by pressing the brake and tighten nut on drive shaft.

      > Tightening torque 460 Nm (340 ftlb.) 

  8. Perform suspension alignment.

    > 449503 PERFORMING FRONT AND REAR SUSPENSION ALIGNMENT

  9. Install hub cap.

    > 441519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING HUB CAPS - section on "installing"
