Installing Drive Shaft

Information 

• Lubricate the drive shaft splines all the way around with Molub Alloy Paste TA  .
• The thread must be free of grease  .

1. Only for the right drive shaft: 

   Replace circlip -2-  on the right drive shaft -1-  and press new  protective ring -3-  on as far -as the contact surface.

2. Only for the right drive shaft: 

   Grease the splines -1-  of the right drive shaft.

3. Only for the left drive shaft: 

   Replace circlip -2-  and sealing ring -3-  on the rear final drive shaft -1-  .

4. Only for the left drive shaft: 

   Grease splines -1-  of the left drive shaft, push on new  protective ring -2-  and check that the retaining lugs -3-  engage securely in the groove on the drive shaft.

5. Insert drive shaft -1-  into the transmission until the drive shaft -1-  engages securely.

6. Check that the drive shafts are fitted securely.
