Preliminary Work

  1. Remove front anti-roll bar

    > 407719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT ANTI-ROLL BAR 

  2. Vehicles with PDCC: 

    Loosen front anti-roll bar.

    > 407709 LOOSENING AND SECURING FRONT ANTI-ROLL BAR (PDCC) 

  3. Support electric motor -1-  .

    Supporting electric motor

    1. 3.1  Position plastic block -2-  between the power-steering gear -3-  and front-axle carrier -4-  .
    2. 3.2  > VAS 6931 - Engine and gearbox jack-5-  must be positioned under the plastic block -2-  .
    3. 3.3  Support electric motor using > VAS 6931 - engine and gearbox jack-5-  .


  1. Remove front anti-roll bar.

    > 407719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT ANTI-ROLL BAR
