Loosening And Securing Front Anti-Roll Bar
CAUTION:
Electrically moved components
- Danger of limbs being trapped
- Switch off electric power to drive motor.
- Make sure it does not switch on again.
- Check that there is no electric charge.
Information
The PDCC system can be active when operational readiness is established (even when the vehicle is stationary). To avoid injury/crushing, only work near the anti-roll bar, lower trailing arms and bellows of the steering gear when operational readiness is deactivated and always allow for the run-on time of 60 seconds.

The help of another person is required.
- Loosen anti-roll bar -1-
.
- 1.1 Only open the lower retaining clip -2- .
- 1.2 Unclip clips -4- for wire harness for anti-roll bar -3- at the battery cover.
- 1.3 Unscrew screws -5- and remove anti-roll bar clamps -6- together with holders.

Guide anti-roll bar -1-
downwards out of the vehicle, getting another person to help you to do this.
Anti-roll bar (PDCC)
- Suspend the anti-roll bar -1-
with two tie-wraps -2 and 3-
on the outside of the high-voltage battery cover.

The help of another person is required.
- Secure the anti-roll bar -1-
.
- 3.1 Get another person to hold the anti-roll bar -1- and loosen/disconnect tie-wraps.
- 3.2 Clip clips -4- for wire harness for anti-roll bar -3- onto the high-voltage battery cover.
- 3.3 Fit electric wire harness for anti-roll bar -3- in lower retaining clip -2- and close the clip -2- .
- 3.4 Position anti-roll bar -1- on the connecting links and lower mountings.
- 3.5 Insert anti-roll bar clamps -6- together with holders.

Fit and tighten new
screws -5-
.
> Tightening torque 50 Nm (37 ftlb.)
> Torque angle + 30 °
