Removing The Front Wheel Bearing Housing
WARNING:

Information
The help of another person is required.
- Remove front brake cover plate -1- .
- Remove wire harness holder -1-
.
- 2.1 Release and disconnect electric plug connection -2- .
- 2.2 Unscrew screw -3- .
- 2.3 Unscrew screw -4- .
- 2.4
Hang wire harness holder -1-
together with wire harness -5-
at the side.

CAUTION: Electrically moved components- Danger of limbs being trapped
- Switch off electric power to drive motor.
- Make sure it does not switch on again.
- Check that there is no electric charge.
Information
Once PDCC is ready for operation, chassis adjustments can be made. To avoid injury/crushing, only work near the anti-roll bar, lower trailing arms and bellows of the steering gear without establishing operational readiness and always allow for the run-on time of 60 seconds.

- Loosen tie-rod ball -1- from front wheel bearing housing -2- .
- Loosen lower trailing arm -1-
from front wheel bearing housing -2-

- 4.1 Loosen nut -3- as far as the top of the joint pin -4- .
- 4.2 Press off lower trailing arm -1- using > T10187 - ball joint puller and remove it from the front wheel bearing housing -2- .

- On vehicles with all-wheel drive: Loosen drive shaft -1- from wheel hub -2- .
- Remove front wheel bearing housing -1- .
