Preliminary Work

Information 

Once PDCC is ready for operation, chassis adjustments can be made. To avoid injury/crushing, only work near the anti-roll bar, lower trailing arms and bellows of the steering gear without establishing operational readiness and always allow for the run-on time of 60 seconds.

1. Remove wheel trim cover.

   Information 

   The help of another person is required.

2. Loosen lock nut on -1-  drive shaft or axle journal (2WD).
   1. 2.1  Get another person to help by pressing the brake.
   2. 2.2  Loosening the lock nut -1-

3. Raising the vehicle.

4. Only for vehicles with air suspension system:  Release air from the levelling system.

5. Remove luggage compartment liner.

6. Removing cowl panel cover.

7. Removing front wheel.

   > 440519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING WHEEL

8. Removing front level sensor.

9. Removing front spring strut.
