Installing Rear Brake CALLIPER
WARNING:
Danger of injury and damage from brake fluid!
- Poisonous if swallowed!
- Irritation and damage to skin
- Avoid contact with paint surfaces
→ Store brake fluid in suitable, labelled containers only
→ Wear protective gloves and goggles
→ In the event of contact (eyes or skin), wash immediately with water
→ In the event of contact with paint surfaces, wash off immediately with water - do not wipe off
Information
- Do not use an impact bolter.
- The thread must be checked visually and may have to be blown out carefully using compressed air. Always wear protective goggles when doing this!
- Replace screws.

Do not bend the brake lines.
- For vehicles with PCCB:
Install rear brake calliper -1- with adapter for rear brake calliper -2- .
- 1.1 Position rear brake calliper -1- with adapter for rear brake calliper -2- .
- 1.2
Fit and tighten new screws -3-

> Tightening torque 30 Nm (22 ftlb.)
> Torque angle 75 °
Rear brake calliper (PCCB)
- For vehicles without PCCB:
Install rear brake calliper -1- .
- 2.1 Position rear brake callipers -1- .
- 2.2
Fit and tighten new
screws -2-
.
> Tightening torque 30 Nm (22 ftlb.)
> Torque angle 75 °
Rear brake calliper
- Install brake line -1-
on rear brake calliper -2-
.
- 3.1 Insert brake line -1- into rear brake calliper -2- .
- 3.2
Screw in and tighten union nut on rear brake line -3-
.
> Tightening torque 14 Nm (10.5 ftlb.)
Brake line on rear brake calliper
- Clip rear brake line -1-
into holder -2-
.
Rear brake line
- Secure electric line for brake pad wear indicator -1-
to holder -2-
.
- 5.1 Clip electric line for brake pad wear indicator -1- into holder -2- .
- 5.2 Connect and lock electric plug connection for brake pad wear indicator -3- .
