Installing Brake Fluid Reservoir

WARNING: Danger of injury and damage from brake fluid! 
  • Poisonous if swallowed! 
  • Irritation and damage to skin 
  • Avoid contact with paint surfaces 

    → Store brake fluid in suitable, labelled containers only

    → Wear protective gloves and goggles

    → In the event of contact (eyes or skin), wash immediately with water

    → In the event of contact with paint surfaces, wash off immediately with water - do not wipe off

  1. Install brake fluid reservoir -1-  .
    1. 1.1  Fit brake fluid reservoir -1-  into the brake master cylinder -3-  .
    2. 1.2  Screw in and tighten screw -2-  .

      > Tightening torque 7 Nm (5 ftlb.)

  2. Push on and lock electric plug connection -1-  and brake pressure line -2-  .

  3. Fill in brake fluid.
    1. 3.1  Fill brake fluid into the brake fluid reservoir until the brake fluid level is between MIN and MAX -1-  .
    2. 3.2  Remove any emerging brake fluid immediately, clean affected components with water and dry them.
