Removing Spreader Device (Actuator)

Information 

• The spreader device (actuator) is fitted on the rear axle wheel bearing housing  .
• If the spreader device (actuator) is to be re-used, secure it in the brake shoe mountings with a tie-wrap to prevent it from turning  .
• The twist lock must not be removed until the brake shoes are installed  .
• The brake shoe mountings must not be twisted  .

1. Remove brake disc cover plate -1-  .
   1. 1.1  Unscrew and remove screws -2-  .
   2. 1.2  Remove brake disc cover plate -1-  .

2. Remove spreader device (actuator) -1-  .
   1. 2.1  Release and disconnect electric plug connection -2-  .
   2. 2.2  Unscrew and remove screws -3-  .
   3. 2.3  Remove spreader device (actuator) -1-  .
