Removing Rear Pccb Brake Pads

Removal of brake calliper
- Paint defects on brake calliper
→ Proceed with care when setting back the brake pads.
→ Protect the paintwork on the brake calliper from damage using a suitable cloth.
Information
If necessary, remove a little brake fluid from the reservoir by suction in order to prevent an overflow when the disc brake pads are pushed back.
Information
Do not damage the dust boots of the brake pistons, replace them if damaged.
- Press brake pistons -1-
back.

> T10145 - Piston resetting appliance
must be inserted at the center, between the PCCB brake pads -2-
.
Then, press the brake pistons -1- back slowly and evenly.
- 1.2 > T10145 - Piston resetting appliance must now be removed.

must be inserted at the center, between the PCCB brake pads -2-

- Remove rear PCCB brake pads -1-
.
- 2.1 Insert a suitable tool between the rear PCCB brake pads -1- and brake calliper -2- and carefully detach the rear PCCB brake pads -1- from the brake calliper -2- by turning the tool slightly.
- 2.2 Remove rear PCCB brake pads -1- from pad retaining pins -3- .

- Remove pad retaining clip -2-
from the brake calliper -1-
.
Pad retaining clip
- Clean contact surfaces of the rear PCCB brake pads in the brake calliper.
