Installing Rear-View Mirror

  1. Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:

    Tighten screw to > Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ftlb.)  .

    1. 1.1 Position rear-view mirror.
    2. 1.2 Tie cord to the wire harness.
    3. 1.3 Pull wire harness for rear-view mirror partially into the door using the cord.
    4. 1.4 Position rear-view mirror in the door aperture.
    5. 1.5 Pull wire harness for rear-view mirror fully into the door using the cord.
    6. 1.6 Detach the cord.
    7. 1.7 Position rubber seal for wire harness in the opening.
    8. 1.8 Check that the rubber seal is seated correctly.

    Information 

    The adhesive pad cannot be pulled off without damaging it and must always be replaced.

  2. Stick new adhesive pad on firmly.
    1. 2.1 Position adhesive pad so that the assembly opening is completely covered.
    2. 2.2 Press adhesive pad on firmly.
