Removing Rear Skirt

Information 

• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle or a similar component. 
• Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well. 

1. Release and disconnect electric plug connection for Park Assist sensor at the rear skirt.

   > 917519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING PARK ASSIST SENSOR

2. Release and disconnect electric plug connection on number plate light.

   > 942919 REMOVING AND INSTALLING NUMBER PLATE LIGHT

3. Only for vehicles with KEYLESS ENTRY (I-no. 4F2 or 4F6): 

   Release and disconnect electric plug connection -1-  on VIP control unit.

   1. 3.1 Open line bracket -2-  and move wire harness -3-  aside.

4. Unscrew screws -2-  . Release locking lugs -3-  all the way around and remove rear skirt -1-  .
