Preliminary Work
Information
- Vehicles with front axle lift system: Set the front axle lift system to "lower".
- Vehicles with adjustable chassis: Set the chassis to "normal" (medium height).
- The vehicle must be on a level surface.
- Perform initial chassis measurement and adjust the chassis if necessary.
- Unclip cover on camera for night vision system and remove it by pulling it forward.

- Adjusting device > VAS 6430/1A - Adjusting device with reflector
with > VAS 6430/6 - Enhanced night vision calibration unit
and VAS 6350/3A Linear laser

set) must be set up in accordance with operating instructions for VAS 6430 and aligned parallel to the vehicle.

Information
Check that there is sufficient floor space between the vehicle and the adjustment device - the gap between the adjustment device and vehicle must be 1, 160 mm.
Once the vehicle and adjustment device are aligned, the vehicle and adjustment device must no longer be moved.
