Adjusting Lock Peg (Striker Pin)

Adjusting element for striker pin

• The striker pin can be adjusted by changing the plasticity of the adjusting element in the C-pillar. 
• The setting is retained when the striker pin is removed. 

1. Move lock peg -2-  outwards.
   1. 1.1 Loosen screws -1-  .
   2. 1.2 Move the lock peg -2-  outwards using > Nr.168 - slide hammer kit  (-arrow-  ).

2. Adjust the lock peg -2-  inwards/down/up.
   1. 2.1 Move the lock peg -2-  to the required position -Arrows-  using a plastic hammer.
   2. 2.2 Carefully close the door and check that the lock peg -2-  is positioned correctly with respect to the lock.
   3. 2.3 Tighten screws -1-  to > Tightening torque 25 Nm (19 ftlb.)  .
