Removing And Installing Hub Caps
Information
- There is a new puller tool for the new generation hub cap (without a hole).
- For correct use, a sealing cord (butyl cord) is still required. Order this in the Porsche Spare Parts Information (000.043.101.00).

- Preparing tool:

Insert the sealing cord into the groove -1-
on the tool.

Press sealing cord -2-
into the groove. The sealing cord must protrude out of the groove -X- so that it can adhere cleanly to the hub cap and the tool does not leave any scratches. To do this, put several layers one over the other.

- 1.3 If the sealing cord -2- no longer sticks, replace it.

Insert the sealing cord into the groove -1-
on the tool.
- Press the puller -1-
with the sealing cord at a centred position onto the wheel hub -2-

Using puller tool
- 2.1 Pull off hub cap and remove it from the puller.
- 2.2 Slide protective cover onto the puller.
- Install wheel hub -1-
with the tip facing the valve -2-
