Installing Steering Column Casing

1. 2.1  Turn the steering wheel so that the screws -3-  are accessible.
2. 2.2  Position lower part of steering column casing -1-  .
3. 2.3  Fit and tighten screws -3-  .

   > Tightening torque 3 Nm (2 ftlb.) 

4. 2.4  Fit and tighten screw -2-  .

   > Tightening torque 1.5 Nm (1 ftlb.)

Lower part of steering column casing

Information 

On vehicles with driver monitoring (I-no. GJ2), the electric plug connections -1 and 2-  must also be plugged in and locked.
