Subsequent Work

  1. Only for vehicles with Business package (I-no. 3Z7): 

    Install rear display and operator control unit.

    > 913119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR DISPLAY AND OPERATOR CONTROL UNIT

  2. Install rear storage compartment and screw in and tighten screw -2-  > Tightening torque 1.5 Nm (1 ftlb.)

  3. Install rear climate control panel.

    > WM, 881119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEM REGULATOR

    Information 

    If air jet was replaced, it must be taught using the PIWIS Tester.

  4. > 9900 - PIWIS Tester 3  must be connected. Then teach the air vent.
    1. 4.1 Select "Air conditioning" control unit.
    2. 4.2 Select "Maintenance and repairs".
    3. 4.3 Select and start "Teach: LIN automatic addressing".
    4. 4.4 Select and start "Alignment drive for LIN servo motors".
    5. 4.5 > 9900 - PIWIS Tester 3  must then be shut down and disconnected.
