Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
Remove strut.
> WM, 408619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING STRUT (A-STRUT)
Remove engine cover (design cover).
> 108319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ENGINE COVER (DESIGN COVER)
Loosen torque support at the bracket and swivel it upwards.
> 103719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TORQUE SUPPORT

Remove torque support bracket.

5.1 Unscrew screws -2- and -3- and loosen and guide out bracket for torque support -1- .
