Removing Exhaust Temperature Sensor

Information 

The procedure for removing and installing is described for one side as an example. The procedure for the other side is almost identical.

1. Expose exhaust temperature sensor cable.
   1. 1.1 Loosen clips -1 and 2-  .
   2. 1.2 Release and disconnect cable plug -3-  .
   3. 1.3 Unclip exhaust temperature sensor -4-  from the bracket.

2. Open cover section -3-  .
   1. 2.1 Loosen snap fastener -1-  .
   2. 2.2 Unscrew nut -2-  .
   3. 2.3 Swivel cover section -3-  upwards -arrow-  .

3. Loosen and unscrew exhaust temperature sensor -1-  using > VAS 261 015 - Flared ring socket insert, a/f 14-2-  and 3/8-inch tool.
