Compressor mounting

1. 1.1 Tighten fastening screws in the sequence -1 to 4-  using > 9890 - socket wrench E1 2. > Observe tightening torque/installation sequence for screws 1-3! 10 Nm (7 ftlb.)

Mounting for lines on compressor

Information 

Check the following before installing the air line:

• Check that the cutting ring -1-  and Voss threaded joint -2-  are still on the air line -3-  .
• Check that the air line is fitted correctly.

Checking air line

Only one marking -1-  on the air line should be visible.

Pull the air line briefly against the insertion direction. If it cannot be pulled out, the air line is fitted correctly.

1. 2.1 Connect air lines and tighten Voss threaded joint -4-  for the air lines > Tightening torque 3 Nm (2 ftlb.) 
2. 2.2 Connect air lines and tighten Voss threaded joint -5-  for the air lines > Tightening torque 2 (1. 5 ftlb.) Nm 
3. 2.3 Secure brackets -3-  .
4. 2.4 Connect electric plug connection -2-  to the control unit and lock it.

1. 3.1 Tighten nuts in the sequence -1 to 4-  > Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.)

Mounting for suction line on compressor

1. 4.1 Connect suction line -1-  to connection piece and secure with a spring band clamp -3-  .
2. 4.2 Secure bracket -4-  .

Information 

Check the following before installing the air line:

• Check that the cutting ring -1-  and Voss threaded joint -2-  are still on the air line -3-  .
• Check that the air line is fitted correctly.

1. 5.1 Connect air lines and tighten Voss threaded joints -2-.  > Tightening torque 2 (1. 5 ftlb.) Nm 
2. 5.2 Connect air lines and tighten Voss threaded joint -3-.  > Tightening torque 3 Nm (2 ftlb.)

Mounting for wire harness for levelling system

1. 6.1 Connect and lock electric plug connections -2-  .
2. 6.2 Secure wire harness for levelling system to the brackets -3-  .

Mounting for PDCC wire harness

1. 7.1 Secure PDCC wire harness to the brackets -4-  .
2. 7.2 Screw in and tighten fastening screw for ground line -3-  .

Information 

Before connecting the 48 V connectors, check whether the sealing ring -1-  is positioned under the locking lugs -2-  in the connectors.

Carefully press the sealing ring back over the locking lugs if necessary.
