Installing Pdcc Control Unit

Information 

Before connecting the 48 V connectors, check whether the sealing ring -1-  is positioned under the locking lugs -2-  in the connectors.

Carefully press the sealing ring back over the locking lugs if necessary.

Observe specified sequence for connecting the electric plug connections.

Sequence corresponds to the numbers -1-  to -5-  .

Tightening torque for screws securing front PDCC control unit to holder: > Tightening torque 5.6 Nm (4 ftlb.)  Tightening torque for plastic nut securing front PDCC control unit holder to body: > Tightening torque 2.5 (1. 75 ftlb.) Nm 

Tightening torque for nut securing front PDCC control unit holder to adapter holder: > Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.) 

Tightening torque for screw securing front PDCC control unit holder to body: > Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.) 

Tightening torque for ground lines on front PDCC control unit: > Tightening torque 5.6 Nm (4 ftlb.) 

Tightening torque for screws securing rear PDCC control unit to holder: > Tightening torque 5.6 Nm (4 ftlb.) 

Tightening torque for screws for rear PDCC control unit holder: > Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.) 

Tightening torque for ground lines on rear PDCC control unit: > Tightening torque 5.6 Nm (4 ftlb.)
