Removing Switch For Power Windows (Front Door)

Information 

• The front locking lug can be accessed through the bore. 
• Only make the bore hole as deep as required so as not to damage the locking lug.

Lightly press switch for power windows (front door) -1-  up through the opening -2-  during the entire loosening process -Arrow-  .

1. Release and disconnect electric plug connection for ambient lighting -1-  .

2. Remove electric plug connection for switch for power windows (front door) -2-  .

3. Make bore hole -1-  in door panel.

   1	> Diameter 5 mm
   A	> Length 9 mm
   B	> Length 3.1 mm

4. Detach switch for power windows (front door).
   1. 4.1 Disengage locking lug -1-  through the bore hole -2-  using a screwdriver.

   2. 4.2 Disengage locking lug -1-  through the opening on the component -2-  using > 9893 - disassembly tool  .

   3. 4.3 Turn the door panel around.
   4. 4.4 Unclip cap -1-  using an assembly wedge. -arrow-

   5. 4.5 Disengage locking lug -1-  through the opening on the component -2-  using > 9893 - disassembly tool  .

5. Remove switch for power windows (front door).
6. Unclip switch for power windows (front door) using > 9893 - disassembly tool  . ADD ANIMATION CROSS-REFERENCE HERE.
