Removing Trailer Hitch Control Unit

NOTE:
Voltage peaks

→ Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.

- Always wear approved work clothes and shoes when carrying out assembly work.
- Do not remove new parts from ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging until shortly before installation.
- Do not touch electric pins and plug contacts.
- Unclip line bracket -2-

Unclipping line bracket
- Screw off nuts -3-
and unscrew screw -4-
.
Loosening holder
- Remove trailer hitch control unit -1-
.
- 3.1 Loosen holder with trailer hitch control unit -1- .
- 3.2 Release and unplug electric plug connections -5- .
- 3.3 Release retaining lug -arrow- and remove trailer hitch control unit -1- .
