Removing Rear PCCB Brake Disc: Notes

- Select brake pad change mode using > 9900 - PIWIS Tester 3
.
- 1.1 Select → 'Brake electronics (PSM, incl. parking brake)' in the 'Control unit overview' and press F12 to confirm your selection.
- 1.2 Select 'Drive links/checks' → 'Start brake pad change mode' and start the procedure.
- Release electric plug connection for the brake pad wear indicator, unclip it -A- and remove it from the holder -B-.

NOTE: Removal of brake calliper- Paint defects on brake calliper
→ Proceed with care when setting back the brake pads.
→ Protect the paintwork on the brake calliper from damage using a suitable cloth.
- Paint defects on brake calliper
- Set back brake pads slightly and evenly.
Information
- Do not use an impact bolter.
- Unscrew screws -arrows-
and loosen the brake calliper from the wheel bearing housing.

Do not open the brake hydraulic system.
- Hang the brake calliper at a suitable position in the wheel housing.
- Unscrew screws -arrows-
and remove rear PCCB brake disc.
