Installing Brake Booster Vacuum Pump

- Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:
- 1.1 Clean contact surfaces on the vacuum pump and cylinder head.
- 1.2 Replace sealing rings on the vacuum pump and vacuum line and grease them.
- 1.3 Align the vacuum pump driver exactly on the groove of the outlet camshaft.
- 1.4 Tighten fastening screws to the specified tightening torque.
Tightening torque for clamp securing charge air hose to turbocharger: > Tightening torque 5.5 Nm (4 ftlb.) +/- 0.5 Nm (0.3 ftlb.)
Tightening torque for screws on brake booster vacuum pump: > Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)
Tightening torque for screws on holder: > Item 4: Internal hexagon round-head bolt 8 Nm (5.8 ftlb.)
