Installing Engine Cover (Design Cover)

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
NOTE: Components not fitted when engine is running or during test drive 
  • Risk of damage to components due to reduced cooling performance 

    → Before starting the engine, make sure that all air-supply components are completely fitted.

    → Only start the engine when the heat shields and design cover are fitted.

    → Only test-drive the vehicle when all underbody panelling, heat shields and the design cover are fitted.

  1. Install design cover -2-  .
    1. 1.1 Fit design cover -2-  and secure with nuts -3-  .
  2. Install design cover -1-  .
    1. 2.1 Press design cover -1-  evenly onto the fastening points -arrows-  .

  3. Check that the design cover -1 and 2-  is seated correctly.
