Removing Brake Booster Vacuum Pump

CAUTION: Hot components

Open clamp -2- , pull off charge air hose -3- and set it aside.

Setting charge air hose aside
Unscrew screws -4- and pull holder -5- over brake booster vacuum pump with electric lines as far forward as required until the hose connection is accessible.

Loosening holder
Disconnect plug connection -6- and move brake booster line -7- aside.

Moving brake booster line aside
Disconnect vacuum hose -8- from brake booster vacuum pump.

Disconnecting vacuum hose

Information

Place a suitable cloth underneath to catch escaping oil when pulling off the vacuum pump.
Unscrew screws -9- and remove brake booster vacuum pump -1- .
