Removing Rear Brake CALLIPER

NOTE: Removal of brake calliper 
  • Paint defects on brake calliper 

    → Proceed with care when setting back the brake pads.

    → Protect the paintwork on the brake calliper from damage using a suitable cloth.

Information 

  1. Release and disconnect electric plug connection for brake pad wear indicator -1-  .

  2. Unscrew screw -1-  on holder for brake line from the brake calliper.

  3. Press the brake pedal and clamp it using a pedal support.
  4. Disconnect brake line at the brake calliper -arrow-  and collect brake fluid in a suitable container.

    Information 

    • Do not use an impact bolter. 
  5. Unscrew screws -arrows-  and loosen the brake calliper from the wheel bearing housing.
