Preliminary work for measurement (high-voltage charger, electric air-conditioning compressor, electric passenger compartment heater, charging socket and related wire harnesses)
- Remove luggage compartment trim at the left.

- Remove subwoofer.
- Release and disconnect high-voltage line from high-voltage charger to high-voltage battery.
High-voltage charger
The high-voltage lines from high-voltage charger to A/C compressor and high-voltage charger to charging socket must be connected.
- Release an disconnect high-voltage line from high-voltage charger to electric passenger compartment heater.
- Connect high-voltage test adapter > VAS 6558/9-6 - High-voltage test adapter HVA 280
to high-voltage charger
connection f or electric passenger compartment heater. Plug in second connection to high-voltage line
from high-voltage charger to electric passenger compartment heater.
Measurement 1
- Perform measurement 1.
- 6.1 Setpoint value ≥ 10 MOhm
- Evaluate test results.
- 7.1 If the measured value is within the tolerance range, continue with measurement 5
- 7.2 If the measured value is outside of the tolerance range, continue with measurement 2
