Removing Charging Socket

→ Always use insulated tools, such as an > VAS 6883 - insulated tool set when working on these parts.

- Release and unplug electric plug connection -1-
.
Electric plug connection
- Disconnect ground line -1-
from the body.
- 2.1 Unscrew fastening screw -2- .
- 2.2 Move ground line -1- aside.
Ground line
- Cut tie-wrap -1-
and pull water drain -2-
off the charging socket.
Tie-wrap
- Press grommet -1-
out of the wheel housing using a suitable tool.
Sleeve
- Release and disconnect connector for loudspeaker.
- Guide electric lines out of the passenger compartment into the wheel housing.
- Unscrew fastening screws -1-
and pull charging socket -2-
down out of the fuel tank well.
