  1. Remove engine cover (design cover).

    > Refer to Removing and installing engine cover (design cover) (V6 biturbo)  in the appropriate service information.

  2. Remove heat shield for turbocharger.

    > Refer to Removing and installing heat shield for turbocharger (V6 Turbo)  in the appropriate service information.

  3. Only for removing camshaft controller actuator at intake side of the right cylinder bank: 

    Drain coolant.

    > Refer to Draining and filling coolant (includes bleeding)  in the appropriate service information.
