Removing PORSCHE Double-Clutch Transmission

Information
- Open connections and lines must be closed off using suitable stoppers or caps.
- Disconnect high-voltage lines at the electric motor.

- Release and disconnect electric connectors for rotor position sensor -1-
and temperature sensor -2-
.
- 2.1 Unscrew screws -3- and remove heat shield -4- .

- Disconnect coolant lines -1-
and -2-
at the top of the elect. machine.
- 3.1 Unscrew screw -3- and remove holder -4- .
- 3.2 Unscrew screw -5- .
- 3.3 Pull coolant lines -1- and -2- out of the elect. machine.
- 3.4 Catch escaping coolant.

- Disconnect potential equalization line -1-
on the elect. machine at the right.
- 4.1 Unscrew nut -2- .

- Remove connecting shaft -3-
.
Using impact puller 9799
- 5.1 Fit > 9799 - impact puller using 4 screws -2- at the groove in the connecting shaft -3- .
- 5.2 Remove connecting shaft -3- using > 9799 - impact puller-1- from the four-wheel final drive -Arrow- .
- Remove ATF line -2-
and disconnect cable plugs -4 and 5-
on the transmission.
- 6.1 Place collection pan under the transmission.
- 6.2 Loosen screw -1- on the transmission -6- and remove it. Close off openings using suitable stoppers.
- 6.3 Loosen and unscrew screw -3- on ATF line holder.
- 6.4 Release and disconnect cable plugs -4 and 5- on the transmission.

- Suspend transmission using > VAS 6100 - workshop crane
and > 9932 - gearbox support-1-
.
- 7.1 Align > 9932 - gearbox support-1- with the transmission with the help of another person and screw in the bolts -Arrows- .
- 7.2 Position > VAS 6100 - Workshop crane above the transmission and connect to the > 9932 - gearbox support-1- .
- 7.3 Lift > VAS 6100 - workshop crane up slightly.
- 7.4 Remove rear support -2- from the transmission support.

- Support the engine.
- 8.1 Place a plastic or wooden base -1- under the engine. Do not damage the pulse sender -2- .
- 8.2 Lower the workshop crane until the engine is positioned on the base -1- .

- Remove the transmission.
- 9.1 Unscrew screws -1 and 2- .
- 9.2 Remove holder -3- .
- 9.3 Carefully guide out the transmission with the help of another person.
