Removing Engine

Left side of engine:

1.1 Loosen engine mount -4- from engine carrier -5- .
1. 1.1.1 Loosen and unscrew screw -3- .

1.2 Only for all-wheel drive vehicles:

Press drive shaft -1- off the all-wheel final drive console -2- (-arrow- ) and guide it out carefully.

Drive shaft and left engine mount (V8 biturbo engine)

Right side of engine:

2.1 Loosen engine mount -4- from engine carrier -5- .
1. 2.1.1 Loosen and unscrew screw -3- .
2.2 Lift the engine up slightly.

2.3 Only for all-wheel drive vehicles:

Press drive shaft -1- off the all-wheel final drive -2- and guide it out carefully.

Remove engine from front-axle carrier.
